Wednesday night Bishop preached and I am sure all that day he had a lot going on. IMMEDIATELY following service Bishop committed his time and anointing to my family through marriage counseling. Bishop had not had dinner and appeared to be tired to my physical eye, but he didn't not ask to reschedule he was not distracted but focused on my husband and I and truly showed concern for our issues. Bishop did not sugar coat anything but spoke truth in love. Thank you for my spiritual covering and his help meet. God continue to bless the Dickerson family as they continue to pour you back into the lives of your people. What a testimony of love!!!

God is good to remind us Sunday that he has a plan, and Wednesday if we just obey him and make the right choices we will be blessed.

Pastor Sonjia Dickerson, again you have obeyed God and preached a blessed message reminding the saints that "God Has a Plan"/Jeremiah 29:11-14. I praise God for the reminder that God has orchestrated my steps in righteousness, and ordered my steps for the destiny he has chosen for my life. I have struggled questioning God, What do you want me to do? Where do you want me to go? Where do you want me to live? I know that he has a plan and all of these questions will be answered once I pray and seek him. God bless you and, "Preach Woman Preach!!!"

God has smiled on me. I just went through a divorce after 12yrs of marriage and that was a blessing. I got everything in the divorce that I wanted and was able to relocate with my 3 kids. I came here by faith, He provided the apartment right on time and then I didn't have a job but He has blessed me with a job very close to where I stay. I heeded His voice and He has assured me this is just the beginning of what He will do in our lives. Thank you both for being vessels that He could pour His spirit in.

"I will recover!!" Without fail, "I will recover All!!" 1 Samuel 30:1-8
My,my, my!! Preach woman Preach, Pastor Sonia Dickerson!!! "I Will Recover!" David encouraged himself, and so will I!! To be distressed is not a good feeling. Being distressed comes from great affliction, adversity, worry, or other mental pain/anguish. In the medical industry to be greatly distressed could lead to major mental problems. We as saints have the word of God teaching us to pray: "The garment of praise and the oil of joy for the spirit of heaviness". Isaiah 61:3 Praise God for his anointed word that lifts, heals, and gives peace in all matters.

I just thank God for the sermon on last Sunday (5/16/10). I woke up Monday very depressed about my situation. Then, I thought about the whole concept of the sermon which simply told me to not focus on my situation, circumtances, problems, lack etc. but to get out of the boat and keep my eyes on Jesus. Focus on what his word says, because looking at my situation will bring anyone down. Once I began to focus on what His word promised me I snapped out of the depression, began to praise and thank God and I felt 100% better. Then, God gave me the strength to work on his plans of what he gave me to begin with. I had a successful day and accomplished much work, after I took my mind off my problems.

Dear god thank you for allowing me to return back to college and complete my degee, after an over 15 year marriage and divorce and kids grown and out of public school and in college now. I'm standing on my own, because I am trusting in you dear lord, you are teaching me to stand and I thank and praise you for that! I kept thinking how I'm I going to get accepted into the Unviersity when my previous Unversity will not release my transcript because of a balance I have from years ago, that I can't pay back all at once right now.
I recived a phone call telling me as long as you send an unofficial and get the official into admissions before a certain date (they gave me) you will be ok.
The devil came a week before class and said where are your books? I said god you got this because I dont! I was about to use some funds (bill money),I didnt' have to purchase books. I call the college to ask about one of the books and she said "OH YOU DONT NEED THOSE BOOKS" we waive the book fees for you for your first class!!!!

Look at god working in my favor!!
I started class online, met so many people other Adults like me. It was so much fun! I'm really excited!

See the devil comes to discourage you and do alot more, that's why we must stay prayed up! God protects his people! His word is our weapon and our shield! I thank you god for the VICTORY!

Lord I know you got me.

Thank you

My King is Exalted on High and I praise him, our Holy, Mighty God in the name of his son Jesus Christ, the prince of peace who sits at his right hand in Heaven for his great blessings towards my family and me. Lately the Devil has been making persistant attacks on my mother's health. First a tumor in her thumb had to be removed earlier this year, then she began loosing her vocabulary prompting doctors to suspect alzhimers, and now stomach discomfort. She was diagnosed with an ulcer in her stomach a couple months ago much to the concern of the rest of us in the family as the doctor's treatment didn't seem to offer much relief. So she was sent for a number of tests, however, by the grace of our blessed redeemer, Jesus Christ, all of her vital organs were found to be in great shape. Hallelujah! It appears that merely a diet shift may be all that's keeping my mom from the abundant good health that comes with being a member of God's sabbath keeping church. Glory to his name! There is neither wisdom, mercy nor lovingkindness like his and I offer my most heartfelt thanks to my Heavenly Father for his unceasing love from the depths of my soul in the name of our Hight Priest Jesus Christ who makes constant intercession to the Father on our behalf. Hosanna in the Highest! Amen.

From my heart, FOOD FOR THOUGHT, to your heart: An article in the July 29, 2009 issue of USA Today entitled 'Economy low, generosity high'. I found quite fascinating to read a few short quotes, "there's a compassion boom going on" and "instead of people worrying about their own problems, they're thinking of others" and that "Americans are responding to the hardships around them by reaching out in service to others"..My thoughts reflected towards many of the early Church disciples and others in the New Testament writings. One interesting thing the early disciples did after the Lord ascended into heaven, they gathered themselves together, prayed and continued in the "greater works" Jesus once said they will do (Acts 1: 4-12 There were many great men and women the Lord used mightily in Old and New Testament writings. Little do we hear of the mighty works of John the Baptist who did baptize many unto repentance (Matthew 14:2) or the apostle Peters' bold and courageous voice in his first sermon (Acts 2: 14) where the disciples "stood up" with him while he was preaching. More is shared in the NT about a man named Joseph who earned the nickname Barnabas. His story is in Acts 4:36, 9:27, 11: 22-25 and 15; 36-38. This brother was empowered and well noted as a consoler, an encourager; though a Levite and worker in the church, he was powerfully blessed to reach out and encourage others. To encourage is to make one strong; to cheer up or cause to smile; to urge forward or motivate towards goals; and to move alongside with biblical counsel. No doubt Barnabas experienced and tasted the goodness of the Lord (Hebrew 3: 1; 6:4, Acts 12: 23, 24) was not at all ashamed to share the power of love, encouragement and more.......WOW! from: Donald Perry-new member of the Dayspring Family
